The King Is Not A *Boneka Puppet

4h Our King Is Not A Boneka Puppet

Therefore, it is extremely unreasonable

That the position of the Head of State is established simply…

To complete ceremonial duties,

Or to be assumed as a *boneka puppet,

To lower the royal seal of consent on each document presented,

With closed eyes, locked mouth and tied hands,

Obligated without options,

In giving the royal consent.

Without His Majesty questioning any advice offered,

What if such advice breaches the law?

Or slips off the tracks of justice?

Or contain elements of oppression?

Or can jeopardize the nation and race?

The King Exercises His Role As A Strong Pillar Of Stability

4e_The King Exercises His Role As A Strong Pillar Of Stability

The King fulfills a symbolic and constitutional requirement;

As a functional democracy.

As the Head of State,

The King exercises his role as a strong pillar of stability.

His Majesty is a source of justice, a core of unity, the unifying umbrella.

# Raja memenuhi satu keperluan perlembagaan secara simbolik – secara fungsi. Selaku Ketua Negara, Raja berperanan sebagai tonggak kestabilan – sumber keadilan, teras perpaduan – payung penyatuan.

The Rulers Are Not Blind, Deaf Or Mute In Speech

4d_The Rulers are not blind, deaf or mute in speech

The Malay Sultans are not a stiff monument for decoration;

Without life or without soul.

The Rulers are not blind, deaf, or mute in speech.

Everything that happens (in Malaysia) are within the vision and hearing space of the Malay Rulers.

Is Malaysia An Islamic Nation? Part 7 of 7

I admit that this topic has been the subject of intense debate in the social media. Let’s examine the clues to the perplexing question.

(I) The Head of the nine Malay States are Muslim Rulers.

(II) The majority of the citizens of Malaysia are Muslims.

(III) The official religion of Malaysia’s Constitution is ISLAM.

(IV) The Supreme King, The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA) is Muslim.

My Humble Opinion

This is my personal opinion that as at 31st August 1957, our Independence Day.

* The Malay Rulers had ceded only the civil administration of the Government;

* The Malay Rulers have fully retained their responsibilities as the Head of ISLAM, which is the official religion of Malaysia.

* Based on the above (I), (II), (III) and (IV), I am fully convinced that Malaysia is an Islamic nation.

* Muslims have the inalienable right to be governed by Islamic laws and such laws like RUU355 does not apply to non-Muslims.

Islam in Malaysia is represented by the Shafi’i version of SUNNI theology and jurispudence. In layman’s term, this is a moderate and progressive form of ISLAM endorsed by the Malay Rulers.

I am also grateful that non-Muslims in Malaysia are accorded the freedom of faith and worship. Hence, all other religions and its adherents must grant Islam the rightful place of esteem and respect.

Final Message

We are well aware that politicians in Malaysia face a huge perception of mega corruption. There has been social talk that if the current civil government falls in GE14, hence ISLAM will also fall. This is absolutely nonsense.

Our Malay Sultans and The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong is the strong bastion and defender of ISLAM. The position of the Malay Rulers and the preeminence of ISLAM is enshrined immutable in our Constitution.

Malaysia must not sink in the sea of corruption. We must break away from the past. Without our corrupt politicians.

27 Rejab 1438

This blessed day marks the royal coronation of His Royal Majesty The King Of Malaysia.

His Royal Majesty Sultan Muhammad V, The Supreme Ruler Of Malaysia, DULI YANG MAHA MULIA SERI PADUKA BAGINDA YANG DIPERTUAN AGONG.

This auspicious date was also chosen to coincide with the Islamic calendar of Israq and Mikraj which is a physical and spiritual journey.

It speaks of the journey and ascension of PROPHET MUHAMMAD through the seven levels of heaven to meet with ALLAH his Creator.

This reflects on His Royal Majesty’s deep devotion to ISLAM and his desire to rule the nation of Malaysia with righteousness and justice.

Malaysia is richly blessed with the righteous rule of the 15th AGONG since the founding of the Federation of the Malay states in 1957.

The coronation ceremony was an awesome sight to behold, a breath-taking and majestic moment of history in-the-making.

The illuminating presence of the seven Sultans and two crown princes of the nine Malay states in Malaysia.

Their Royal Majesties resplendent in royal regalia with embroidery of gold threads. Befitting to the much loved Malay Sultanage.

Most of all, the splendour of the new King, the countenance of His Royal Majesty filled the palace courts with a golden glow.

The Grand Chamberlain of The Royal Palace presented a golden copy of the AL-QU’RAN to His Royal Majesty at the beginning of the ceremony.

His Royal Majesty kissed the AL-QU’RAN with devotion – this was a meaningful and symbolic gesture.

It depicts the role of the King as HEAD of the Islamic religion of the Federal Territories and four states that do not have a Malay Sultan.

The royal emblems, the ceremonial mace and sceptres of authority of the Malay civilization made its rare appearance on this special day.

Signifying the royal nobility and glorious splendour of His Royal Majesty as chosen by ALLAH to rule over the nation of Malaysia.

* COGAN ALAM, the sceptre of the universe.

* COGAN AGAMA, the sceptre of the religion of ISLAM.

* KERIS PENDEK DIRAJA, the King’s Royal Dagger.

* KERIS PANJANG DIRAJA, the Govermental Royal Dagger.

* GOLDEN AL-QU’RAN, the glorious revelation of ISLAM.

The divine moment arrived when His Royal Majesty took his oath of office effective for the next five years.

Simultaneously, the throne room was resounding with shouts of joy and pride “DAULAT TUANKU”, “DAULAT TUANKU”, “DAULAT TUANKU”.

Then the melodious music of “NEGARAKU” the national anthem was played with the finest 21-gun salute of the First Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment in accompaniment.

This was followed by the long-awaited proclaimation of the royal coronation of Malaysia’s DULI YANG MAHA MULIA SERI PADUKA BAGINDA YANG DIPERTUAN AGONG, SULTAN MUHAMMAD V.

Prime Minister YAB Datuk Seri Najib Razak extended his congratulations speech to the newly coronated YANG DI-PERTUAN AGONG.

The Prime Minister as representing the government, security forces, civil servants and the people of Malaysia – solemnly pledged his oath of allegiance to His Royal Majesty.

His Royal Majesty then delivered his Royal Address before the recital of prayers which concluded the coronation ceremony.
