7 Aspirations Of The 9 Malay Rulers’ Legal Will.

(1) The *sovereignty of the Rulers. (*legal immunity)

(2) Islam as the religion of the Federation.

(3) The Malay Language as the National Language.

# Perkara-perkara yang dizahirkan oleh Raja-Raja Melayu, sama ada secara lisan, perutusan warkah, begitu juga dalam mesyuarat-mesyuarat DURBAR, Majlis Mesyuarat Persekutuan dan Majlis Raja-Raja, dianyam di dalam Perlembagaan Persekutuan, menyentuh tujuh perkara utama, sering kali dirujuk pada hari ini sebagai tujuh wasiat Raja-Raja Melayu. Terpahat secara tersirat – tertera secara tersurat di dalam Perlembagaan Persekutuan semangat menjunjung Tujuh Wasiat Raja-Raja Melayu, yang secara tegas menetapkan antaranya, (1) *kedaulatan Raja-Raja, (2) Islam sebagai agama Persekutuan, (3) Bahasa Melayu sebagai Bahasa Kebangsaan, (4) Tanah Simpanan Melayu, (5) kedudukan istimewa Orang Melayu dan (6) kepentingan sah kaum-kaum lain, diberikan jaminan untuk dilindungi pada setiap masa. Perkara-perkara ini tidak boleh dipinda di dalam Perlembagaan tanpa perkenan Raja-Raja.
